Full Job Description
The Global Scheduling Team ("GST") reports into the IA Chief Operating Office; this office also includes teams that support the wider IA-Learning and Development, Resource and Budget Management, Legal Counsel, Data and Operations, and Communications and Engagement. At its core, GST is responsible for making sure audit engagements are staffed with the right people and at the right time. The Strategy and Change Management Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows related to scheduling. Successful candidate is expected to evidence an in-depth understanding of the inter-dependencies of Internal Audit processes and tools/ systems to further progress the continued development of Scheduling tools/ processes/ reporting within the context of IA-wide objectives. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role(s) depending on the situation or project. Contributes consistently and positively by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. What you'll do
- Project Management support of business risk and control oversight and other strategic initiatives.
- Change Management support of GST systems, processes, and controls; including consideration for the impacts of interdependent teams' processes and tools.
- Support the progression of GST's scheduling tool through the likes of coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Development and maintenance of GST processes and controls documentation
- Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made; considering and/or solutioning for potential risks, through mitigation and controls; engaging relevant stakeholders, and escalating where appropriate.
- Development and/or management of strategic solutions, including collaboration with GST, stakeholders, and third-party colleagues.
- Coordinating multiple work streams, with attention to detail, prioritization, and delivery.
- Perform data collection, evaluation, and analysis.
- Provide support/coverage of GST reporting development and delivery, as needed.
- Development of presentation decks, as needed.
Previous experience within change management role - Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills using the likes of excel, Cognos, and Tableau
- Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross-disciplinary workstreams.
- Project management and business analysis experience, including drafting business requirements and managing user acceptance testing.
- Ability to be flexible in approach and nimble in adjusting to evolving requirements/ priorities/ landscape., Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
