Citizens Advice Scotland is a strategy-led organisation and as Strategy and Governance Officer you will work in a small team at the heart of organisation which provides support to set strategic direction and then works to ensure that we have the structures and processes in place to deliver on that, including good governance and risk management. It is a wide and varied job that includes everything from organising fun activities that help our people understand how they contribute to delivering on the strategy, to working out the best ways to evidence our progress, to making sure that our risk management records are kept up to date. We are currently involved in refreshing our current strategy and you will be involved in every stage of that process. You will need to be an excellent communicator, very organised, great attention detail and a good problem solver. Some experience in experience in strategy, governance, performance or risk would be a big advantage, but there s lots of scope to learn on the job too. About Citizens Advice Scotland The Citizens Advice network in Scotland is the largest independent advice service in the country. Citizens Advice Scotland is a charity within this network we act as a national organisation supporting and representing the service as a whole and the interests of citizens. At the heart of the network there are 59 individual citizens advice bureau across Scotland, all operating as independent charities in their own right, which focus on providing support and advice directly to clients. Each of these organisations is a member of Citizens Advice Scotland.
