You will be joining the existing lands & grounds team at a large organisation in Midlothian. Due to an increase in budget, they are looking to add 2 x street cleansing operatives to their team.
Your new role
Hays are seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team as a Street Cleansing Operative. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our local streets and public areas in Midlothian. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of streets, parks, and other public areas
• Operate street cleaning machinery and equipment
• Collect and dispose of litter and waste
• Report any issues or hazards identified during cleaning operations
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a reliable, hard-working individual who is able to work well as part of a team. Due to the mobile nature of the role, you will need to have a valid UK Driving Licence and be able to be in the yard for a 0730 start. You do not need a CSCS card to be considered for this role.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a very long-term position on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant throughout
