Job Overview:

Peace Recruitment are seeking a Site Engineer/Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a small groundwork project in South Lanarkshire. The role involves managing earthworks, hard and soft landscaping, and surfacing. There will be minimal setting out required. This opportunity is with a family-owned Civil Engineering Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.
• Manage subcontractors and site personnel effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress and report any issues to the project team.
• Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure all works are carried out to specification.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Site Manager in civil engineering or construction.
• Strong understanding of earthworks, landscaping, and surfacing.
• Ability to manage and coordinate site operations efficiently.
• CSCS card and relevant site certifications preferred.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
