• Review of incoming works to ensure required information is provided (Job Packs / TM Forms etc)
• Detailed validation of incoming works to include an assessment of information to complete the works
and specialist materials or plant requirements
• Promoting and developing the use of Confirm in the end to end planning and delivery process
• Liaise with the works originator over any queries
• Interfacing with other Supervisors/Agents to maximise opportunities for resource sharing
• Road space booking
Project specific activities:
• Attend all relevant stakeholder meetings
• Site visits and liaison with clients to determine scope of works
• Communication with residents and members of the client team throughout the works delivery
• Management of Labour, Plant and Material resources
• Management of programme
  
  The following qualities/experience are essential:
• Operational experience working on a Highways Maintenance Contract
• Understanding of emergency and winter service operations
• Good level of Business Acumen
• Good interpersonal skills; communication, can provide clear direction,
• Excellent organisational skills
• Adaptable to changing situations
• Team work
• Root cause problem solving
• Commercial Awareness - understand cost of doing business, SLAs and KPI;
• Understanding of works programming
• Use of IT systems; specifically confirm and excel
