9 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, salary pro rata, Mon–Fri, 08:00 – 09:00 & Mon–Thu, 12:15 – 13:15 (term time)

St Joseph’s Primary is a Roman Catholic School in Linlithgow. At present, the school has a role of 95 within 5 classes. Our school community is a family community, where children are nurtured within a warm and positive environment. High standards of behaviour and effort are expected. The staff work as a team, supporting each other to provide quality teaching and support to enable the children to learn effectively.

St Joseph’s staff have clear defined aims which complement the five National Priorities for Education, identified by the Scottish Executive in the Standards in Scottish Schools Act 2000 and the four competencies in A Curriculum for Excellence.

The school aims to care for each child and strives to create an environment in which they feel safe, happy, confident and valued as an individual. The post holder will be required to supervise pupils in the playground and dining hall, ensuring safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate.
