Full Job Description

We are looking Supplier manager for initially 3 months contract based in Edinburgh (Hybrid once in a month ). Manage key suppliers in compliance with the Procurement & Supplier Management policy and framework to ensure to receive appropriate service and value for money, whilst managing risk. Key contact for Suppliers. Ensure full understanding of all services provided by suppliers, engaging relevant internal stakeholders and report on performance, service and risk exposures

  • Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Monitor, review, and highlight any gaps in the performance of a portfolio of smaller suppliers to recommend and ensure delivery of improvements by suppliers or to renegotiate or change contract/supplier. Contract Requirements: Identify trends, summarize findings, and give feedback on existing contract performance, and provide as input to new contract processes for negotiations/renegotiations. Supply Chain Management: Achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it.

    Proven experience in Supplier management/Contract management. - Experience within the Insurance industry.
