Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for one of our clients within the retail industry. As the Retail Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and the timely delivery of goods. Your role will be pivotal in optimising inventory management, coordinating with suppliers, and enhancing overall operational excellence to support our retail network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimising waste and storage costs.
  • Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing and delivery.
  • Logistics Oversight: Manage logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of supply chain professionals to achieve performance targets.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes, adopting innovative solutions and technologies.
  • Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to monitor KPIs, forecast demand, and inform decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain software/tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
