Full Job Description

Our Bathgate facility has an opening for a Supply Chain Specialist to manage our Fast Chain Hub. As the Supply Chain Specialist you will be responsible for complete oversight of Catalent Pharma Solutions Fast Chain Hub offering.

This includes but is not limited to responsibility of the physical supply chain from receipt of materials and goods through shipment confirmation and all steps in between.

This role will also require the individual to demonstrate strong customer service skills with excellent program management skills.

The Role

Serve as the Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Fast Chain Hub process and execute root cause investigations for failures within the supply chain

Is an SME in the following but not limited to areas : Study set up, demand planning, S&OP, scheduling, incoming goods receipt, Clinicopia, iDS system function, iRelease system function, batch record execution / requirements, overall production process, overall distribution process

Has direct oversight for all packaging, labelling, and distribution execution that falls within the Hub process

Daily cross-functional interaction with customers, vendors, project management, planning, technical services, pre-production, label control, quality, and receiving / shipping

Implements procedures to increase productivity and decrease downtime through use of lean manufacturing practices and / or six sigma practices

Serve as the Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Fast Chain Hub process and execute root cause investigations for failures within the supply chain

Responsible for timely and accurate communication to customers, clinical teams, investigator sites, physicians, third party depots, and any additional external customers

Responsible for timely and accurate communication to the Director of S&D, Director of M&P, site SLT and all other internal customers

Responsible for the continuous improvement of the Fast Chain Hub with a strong focus on reducing cycle time to the customer

Direct and supervise the employee work activities.

A Strong function in Clinical Supply Process

Proven experience in clinical, contract, or production experience preferred

Proven track record of driving results and change management with excellent communication skills

Pharmaceutical packaging and manufacturing experience preferred

ERP systems expertise preferred including JDEdwards, SAP, Fusion, Clinicopia, and other platforms

Demonstrated ability to supervise professional, technical associates, peers and non-direct reporting staff

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products)

Knowledge of cGMPs, and all applicable country, state, and local rules and regulations is a must

Leadership and team building skills
