Your role will focus on helping our client-facing teams to shape and grow a modern Data Analytics platform using the Azure cloud platform. This will include configuration and management of PaaS components, utilising Azure DevOps for Application Lifecycle Management, monitoring and continuously improving the platform, helping the business in how to get the most value from it.,

• Platform Management & Optimization: (Includes hands-on management, maintenance, monitoring, security, administration, and continuous improvement of the Azure environment)
• Data Pipeline Development & Security: (Includes creation, maintenance, and security of data pipelines)
• Technical Expertise & Collaboration: (Includes expertise in Synapse, Azure, troubleshooting, and collaboration with stakeholders)
• The role does not require any line management responsibility but could change in the future
  
  Comfortable working within a cloud-native environment, with a strong preference for Azure and its ecosystem.
• Ability to design, build, and manage secure pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong SQL expertise with a solid understanding of database administration principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation.
• Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux server administration.
• Azure certification (e.g., Data Engineer Associate) is a plus.
