Support for Learning Assistants

We are currently recruiting a number Support for Learning Assistants to support the Maddiston Primary School Decant and deliver continuity for children until 27^th June 2025.

You will undertake general supervision of children to ensure their safety and well-being whilst being transported to and from the decanted school on a daily basis. 

This role requires you to work as part of a team of staff, so good communication skills are essential for this post. You should possess a positive, can-do attitude and be flexible in your approach.

The post requires you to work 1 hour in the morning (from 8.25am) to escort children on bus from Maddiston Bus Stance to either Bantaskin Primary School or Wallacestone Primary School and then again from the school (1 hour from approximately 3pm) to return to Maddiston Primary School.    The weekly hours are 2 hours each day Monday to Friday, term time on a temporary basis until 27^th June 2025.

Please note minibus transport will be provided to collect you from Maddiston Primary School each morning and also collect you from the decanted school to return to Maddiston Primary School.  Minibus transport will also be provided at the end of the school day if required.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
