McLaren High School is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland on the southern edge of Callander, an easy commute from the Central belt – 25 minutes from Stirling and 45 minutes from Glasgow.

 

Currently the School has a roll of 670 pupils. McLaren High School has highly professional teaching and support staff, with high expectations for our pupils. We are committed to working with parents to support and challenge our pupils to succeed in learning and to develop as confident young citizens.  The School was voted Scottish Secondary School of the year for 2024 by the Sunday Times Parent Power List.

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Support for Learning Assistant on a temporary basis working full time 27.5 hours per week in line with the school day.   We would also be willing to consider other part time hours. You would primarily be supporting BGE pupils in S1-3 either in class or in the support for learning hub.
