Salary: £16,568 - £17,344

Hours: 27.5 hours

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our Specialist Provision in Riverside Primary School. Our Specialist Provision currently meets the needs of autistic children and children with more complex additional support needs. We are seeking to appoint 3 Support for Learning Assistants (SLAs) who will work for 27.5 hours per week during term-time.

 

You will have experience in supporting children and young people. Knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies is desirable. You will be kind, flexible, supportive, understanding and able to listen & respond appropriately to young people. You will be a valued part of a team, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people.

You will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be invited to complete the form and have your details verified.
