An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Support for Learning Assistants to become valued members of our school team, within Bridge of Allan Primary School.

You will be fully involved in the life and work of the school, providing invaluable support and helping to contribute towards high quality care and education of all children.

Bridge of Allan Primary is a large Primary School based within the village of Bridge of Allan, near Stirling.  The school sits on the site of a former orchard and is surrounded by trees, parks and green fields as well as local housing.

Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals with experience of working with children of different ages and abilities, including those with specific support or medical needs. You will work within an enthusiastic and hard-working team to support children with their learning opportunities that are part of a high quality, child-centred education. This will include demonstrating a good working knowledge and understanding of literacy, numeracy and digital skills at primary level.

You will be a reliable, patient and innovative individual, who will work effectively in partnership with others. In addition, you will have good communication and organisational skills, a positive and solution focused attitude, and show a commitment to ongoing professional development.

If you wish to broaden your experience and feel you have the skills and attributes to join our support team, we would be very interested in hearing from you.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.  If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.

If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
