Falkirk Council are looking to appoint a highly skilled Support for Learning Assistant for Ladeside Primary School ASC. We are looking to recruit people who are interested in supporting pupils who have significant additional barriers to learning arising from other factors, such as:

• Complex communication, emotional, social and behavioural development
• Sensory processing
• Pronounced difficulties in learning

You will undertake a range of duties with regard to general supervision, safety, intimate/personal care and well-being of the children.

Good communication skills are essential and you should enjoy working as part of a team. Experience of working with children and young people with additional support needs is desirable.

The post will based within our Additional Support Centre at Ladeside Primary School.

We are currently aiming to recruit 5 posts;

• 1 x 16.5 hour permanent contract (3 days, Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 3pm)
• 3 x 25 hour permanent contract (5 days, Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 2:45pm)
• 1 x 27.5 temporary contract (5 days, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, temp until 27^th June 2025)

All posts are term time.
