Provide core technical support within Design and Technology dept. and also to work flexibly throughout the school within all technician disciplines.
Responsible for whole school technical support within Design and Technology, Science and Digital Technology with due regard for Health and Safety.
Ensure most efficient range of support services are provided efficiently and in an organised manner. Please note this post is predominantly required to support practical work within the school Design and Technology dept. e.g. Woodworking/Metalwork/Design and Manufacture. Appropriate qualifications and experience would therefore include mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metal working, mechanical maintenance etc.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
