FEMALE Support Worker

Coatbridge

We will consider full and part time applications.

We are looking for reliable, fun and empathetic Support Workers to join our team based in Coatbridge, for a specific service user living in her own home who has complex mental health needs, neurological and learning needs. This is a 2:1 service, support workers will work in pairs at all times.

We are Mears Supported Living Ltd, providing a range of care and support services to people out in the community and in their own homes to enable them to stay as independent as they can.

The successful Support Workers will support in household tasks and maintenance of tenancy, money management, assistance with medication and provision of preparing and serving nutritious meals.

About Them:

Our service user has a learning liability and can displays challenging behavior when triggered due to the complexities of her mental health, this may show in signs of apprehension and/or aggression. At these times staff are required to support, reassure and follow the behavior support plan, to ensure both staff and service user are safe.

Support workers to work on a 2:1 basis.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears- does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

The shift pattern will consist of day shift/ backs shift or long day if preferred. Shift patterns are as follows:

Early shifts 0800-1500

Late shifts 15:00-2200

*

You will be required to work every second weekend.
