Role - Support Workers

 

l Location: Edinburgh & Surrounding Areas

l Salary: £12 per hour+ (depending upon experience and role)

l Hours: Shift work which can cater for family life; mornings, afternoons, long days, waking nights.

 

Description

 

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated and experienced Support Workers who are looking for new employment opportunities. Ours service users and clients are individuals who have disabilities such as Mental Health, Learning Disability, Autism, Epilepsy, Stroke, Addictions and Homelessness

 

You will play a crucial role in providing emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to ensure that they are assisted and encouraged to live their best lives.

 

Key Responsibilities:


· Work as part of a dedicated team to provide professional and supportive care.

· Provide emotional support and guidance to those using the service

· Maintain and update all recording systems and documentation in line with relevant policies, procedures and practice guidelines.


Requirements:


· A minimum experience of working within a support worker role (6 months within the UK) which must be evidenced by way of references.

· Right to work within the UK

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental manner.

· Flexibility to work shifts during the week ie Monday to Friday.

· Basic IT skills for record-keeping and reporting.

· Full UK driving license (desirable but not essential).
