Full Job Description

Our Meallmore team at Willow Lodge are ready to warmly welcome you as a Support Worker within their care home. Willow Lodge is a stunning, purpose-built facility offering care for vulnerable people with mental health needs. The mental health care home has a strong focus on recovery-led care and enabling individuals to live as independently as possible.

Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career whether that be as a Senior Support Worker or a Senior Support Practitioner, the choice is yours!

If you're not already working as a Support Worker / Care Assistant, you will be required to register to the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council), Meallmore will support you with this process.

Your role as a Meallmore Support Worker will include:
To promote/provide a high quality of care and support in accordance with Individual care/support plans.
To assist in creating wellbeing within a caring environment and be involved in the general activities of the home.
To adhere to Meallmore Standards, Policies and Procedures, National Care Standards.
To work in line with the SSSC codes of Practice.
Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams.
Carry out personal care duties.

Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines) is desirable.
Communication and repour building skills.
Kind caring nature.

Salary: £12.00 - £12.10 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 34.5 hours per week
