Leading an internal Survey Services department team, which specializes in various Surveying and Engineering methodologies and techniques. Ensuring that the department is of sound structure and follows the required policies, standards and procedures. What you'll be doing As a Head of Survey Services, your responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance and support to all Survey Department members
• Maintaining high levels of motivation within the department
• Assisting with ensuring target employee engagement levels are met
• Encouraging continued personal development within the department
• Further developing the capabilities and services that the Survey Department offers and provides, in accordance with the overarching departmental strategy
• Ensuring an efficient and effective team structure is maintained within their team
• Effective line management of direct reports
• Ensuring all their team members are performing as expected within their roles

• Experience in managing and leading a team which delivers Survey Services such as: Topographical surveys, Utility Mapping Surveys, Setting Out Services, Laser Scan Surveys, Drone Surveys, CAD Drawing etc.
• Extensive Surveying experience and knowledge - To ensure a great understanding of the Surveying Discipline in order to resolve escalated queries and issues
• In depth knowledge of Surveying Equipment
• Knowledge of Surveying processing software and CAD software
• Great Timekeeping and Organization Skills
• Excellent Communicator
• Efficient Problem Solver.
