Iconic Resourcing is thrilled to be partnering with Union Technical during an exciting phase of growth. As part of their expansion, Union Technical is seeking a passionate and proactive Sustainability Manager to join their team in this newly created role. Founded in 2014, Union Technical was established with a bold vision – to become the UK’s leading contractor for “Whole House” Energy Efficiency Renovations. With sustainability at the heart of everything they do, the company has steadily grown and is now on track to revolutionise energy-efficient home solutions across the country.

As Sustainability Manager, you will be an integral part of the IMS team, working alongside the Head of Business Development and other key stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to ensure Union Technical meets and exceeds environmental regulations, significantly reduces its carbon footprint, and continues to drive sustainability across all aspects of the business. You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's sustainability strategy and supporting its mission to lead the industry in energy-efficient home solutions.

We are looking for the following:

  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of working with management systems standards, including ISO9001, 14001 and ISO45001.

  • The ability to take the lead on projects in line with the business environmental interests, with experience of managing environmental impacts of projects from start to completion.

  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Policies, Procedures, Instructions and Risk Assessment Systems.

  • Good and thorough report writing skills.

  • A can-do attitude with a passion for continuous improvement

If you’re excited about the opportunity to help shape the future of sustainability in energy efficiency, we’d love to hear from you!

At Iconic Resourcing, we understand that not all candidates will meet every single desired qualification or skill for the job positions posted on behalf of our clients. However, if you believe that you can add value to the role despite your experience looking a little different from what we've identified, we would be thrilled to learn more about you.
