North Ayrshire Council seeks an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join our Sustainability team for a 3-year period. Our Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) and Delivery Plan has been developed to identify North Ayrshire’s heat demand, take action on decarbonising heat, and improve levels of energy efficiency. As a Sustainability Officer, you will implement and manage projects within the Council's LHEES Delivery Plan, to assist the delivery of net zero emissions and reduce fuel poverty across North Ayrshire. Action will include implementing domestic and non-domestic interventions, investigating heat network options, and engaging with various stakeholders.
