Full Job Description

Shift Pattern: In accordance with a rotational roster, you will work over a four-week shift pattern which consists of two weeks day shift and 2 weeks back shifts. Day shift is 6.30 am until 3.30 pm (during week days - 7am until 4 pm office based) Backshift is 3 pm until 11 pm. When not in the office you will work from home. Shift Pattern consists of -

  • Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday , Saturday, and Sunday ( Dayshift )
  • Week 2 - Wednesday , Thursday ( Dayshift )
  • Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ( Backshift )
  • Week 4 - Wednesday , Thursday ( Backshift )
  • We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as part of a team who will provide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community Council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work. There is a requirement use IT, and you should have an interest and understanding of IT programmes. A number of opportunities exist for people wishing to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.,
  • Provide examples of your work or other activities which demonstrate your ability or aptitude to undertake the duties of the post
  • Provide details of a work situation that has been difficult, describe your skills and what your role was, how you communicated and influenced the outcome in a positive way
  • Provide details of how you would respond to telephone calls where individuals are experiencing difficulties, how you would deal with this and what you need to consider in relation to meeting changing priorities
  • Please provide details of which IT programs and applications you use / are familiar with? Please describe your level of computer literacy.
