Full Job Description

The teams are well structured and there is a very low turnover of staff and a low sickness absence rate, which reflects the very good levels of support, supervision and professional development. You will be joining a responsive, progressive and innovative Social Work resource where children’s needs are central to policy, practice and partnership working.
It is a requirement of this post that you apply to register with the SSSC within 3 months of commencing post.
You must be willing to work towards this qualification or have the qualification before commencing post. There are two parts to residential childcare worker qualification requirements. You must have a practice qualification plus an award of certificated knowledge, or one qualification which meets the full criteria. The main qualifications are detailed below: SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 and HNC Social Services. Please refer to the SSSC website for a full list of acceptable qualifications.
Shift Pattern: Three week rota with a mix of early and late shifts including two weekends out of three.
Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £29,555.04 - £32,082.26
