An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Systems Administrator to join our Alarm Receiving Centre on a permanent basis.

Position Details
The NRS Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) is a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold Accredited CAT II ARC. Having achieved Quality Assurance ISO 9001:2015, BS 5979:2007 and BS 8484:2011 Clause 6 certificates. It also holds membership of the BSIA (British Security Industry Association) for delivery of Security Systems and Alarm Receiving Centres.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the various monitoring systems within the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
Working under the direction of the Service Manager and requiring excellent customer service and organisational skills to support Senior Monitoring Officers, Monitoring Officers and clients, the successful candidate will have the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments.
Good IT skills and excellent organisation skills are essential requirements of this role.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £28,714.76 - £33,448.52 on an incremental scale
Key Pre-Employment Information
As part of the pre-employment checks for this post the successful candidate will have to undergo a BS7858 Security Screening check which will involve a 5 or 10-year career history check, a financial probity check and criminal record screening. This will be completed in addition to the Council’s own standard pre-employment checks, which will be detailed to the successful candidate following interviews.
