Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to join our team. The Systems Analyst, collaborating closely with the Systems Manager, will be responsible for analysing, evaluating and implementing information systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our hotel operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of both applications and business processes ideally within the hospitality industry. As well as a base of widely used applications for business processes and SaaS we have a number of integrations, data warehousing platforms and native integrations with 365. We also continue to invest in robotic automation and developing our online presence. We have an exciting programme of investment in these areas to continue to improve our customer, financial and back office operations.

The job is mainly based in Crieff but will involve some travel to the other hotels and sites in our family of hotels.,

  • System Analysis and Design: Evaluate current systems and processes, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Implementation and Integration: Oversee the implementation of new systems and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to hotel staff on system usage and best practices.

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to procure and implement software and hardware solutions.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

  • Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with industry standards and regulations, including data privacy and security protocols.

  • Reporting: Generate and analyse reports to provide insights into system performance and identify areas for improvement.

    To be successful in this position, you'll have working experience of the following-

  • Hospitality Systems: Familiarity of PMS, POS and CRM systems and experience of working with similar applications across a range of business processes such as hotel operations, finance, sales, revenue and marketing. Alongside an understanding of IT infrastructure and systems and networking concepts.

  • Microsoft 365: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams and Dynamics.

  • Microsoft Power BI: Experience of using Power BI or similar BI tools to visualise data and transform multiple data sources into actionable insights.
