Full Job Description

Our client, a highly acquisitive business in the Energy sector are looking to integrate a new function into their business which will focus on the capture and effective usage of all historical and current data emanating from the various business units.

A key role within this is that of the Systems Integration Manager who will focus on the system integration scheduling of numerous recently acquired businesses. The successful candidate will gain support from system managers, data engineers and BI Specialists allowing them to architect and manage the integration plan.

Key responsibilities:

Migration Management:

  • Oversee and direct the process of moving organisations to group suite of products.
  • For every migration project, create and carry thorough project plans, schedules, and milestones
  • Keep track of and report on the status of the project to guarantee its timely and successful completion.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Throughout the migration process, serve as the main point of contact
  • Inform stakeholders of project schedules, status reports, and modifications.

Resource Management:

  • Oversee and plan each migration project resource allocation.
  • Assign work to team members and data processors while ensuring resources are used effectively.
  • Keep an eye on the data processing team's workload and modify tasks as needed to fulfil project deadlines.

Quality Assurance:

  • Verify the integrity and correctness of the data being transferred.
  • Establish and uphold quality control procedures to stop errors and discrepancies in data.

Risk Management:

  • Determine any dangers and problems associated with the migration procedure.
  • Create and put into action mitigation plans to deal with hazards that have been identified.

Continuous Improvement:

  • To increase efficacy and efficiency, assess and enhance migration procedures.
  • To determine areas that require improvement, collect input from team members and stakeholders.

Candidates should have proven experience in system integration or data migration whilst having strong project management skills.
