This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated DT teacher to join our dynamic and supportive Design Technology Faculty.  We aim to foster a passion for our subjects within each of our students.  Our DT department benefits from well-equipped workshops and industry standard software to enable our students to develop key skills and become successful learners.  We offer Level 5 NPA Jewellery Techniques 1 and 2, Creative Thinking Level 5 and 6, Design Engineer Construct Level 1 and 2 (equivalent to level 5 and 6), and Practical Woodworking up to N5.

We are open to considering a flexible route probationer or an Art teacher with technical credits within their degree with a view to dual qualifying.

We're committed to creating a workplace culture where all our people feel valued, included and able to be their best at work, and we recognise the benefits that a diverse workforce with different values, beliefs, experience, and backgrounds brings to us as an organisation.

As part of our goal to improve our organisational culture and create a great place to work together for the people of Edinburgh, we want to make sure that we’re bringing the best people into our roles, not just in their skills and experience but also in their approach to work.
