Role Purpose
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in our SCQF Ambassador school to bring personal strengths and interests to our curriculum and really shape the curriculum offer to meet our learners’ needs.
To enable all young people to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors as part of the school team.
To provide instructional leadership that enables students to learn experientially, through direct guided experience using active participation and nature’s resources.
To work in partnership with staff to create student learning opportunities that align to the Outdoor Learning Strategy nationally and locally.
To support educational objectives that enhance the curriculum.
To create experiential activities and plan tailored experiences to classroom learning objectives which meet the needs of all.
To facilitate vocational skills and career development activities that support self-determination, employment readiness, and improved outcomes for all students.
Essential
A teaching qualification in Education.
Full registration with The General Teaching Council for Scotland or Provisional Registration if Probationary period has not yet been completed.
