Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Langlee Centre, Galashiels
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary*: £27.13 - £28.37 per hour / £49,523.88 - £51,786.87 per annum
Qualifications: Appropriate Social Work qualification at degree or diploma level (DipSW). Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.**

The Role
As a result of significant investment, and in order to provide timely, effective, empowering and relationship-based responses to children, young people and families, we are looking to expand a number of Children and Families Social Work teams in Scottish Borders.
The initial expansion includes a focus on:
A shift towards prevention and early intervention, introducing an increased and more responsive staffing model within the Duty Intake Team.
As part of this service expansion, we are looking to recruit:
An additional Team Leader, who will be responsible for leadership and direction of a team of staff engaged in providing frontline services to children, young people and families, and ensuring multi-agency collaborative work.
