Full Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for the control and delivery of all aspects of refuse collection including the collection of recyclate in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Waste Management Services Plan, the Community Plan and the Council’s Recovery & Renewal Plan.

This is a full time permanent position and the admin base is Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock
The hours of work are 35 per week and the work patter is:
Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm & Friday 9am -4pm
Annual salary is £47,848 - £52,325
The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50-79% of time is office based. Able to work at different/ multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home, or another location 1-2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments.
It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
