Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to establish and manage a new pest control service in the Council. The Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of the service to a range of internal and external customers in the East Lothian area as well as leading a team of pest control technicians. You will also undertake a range of duties which support the Environmental Health team in meeting relevant local and national standards particularly in relation to the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act. Applicants should be qualified to RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management and be able to demonstrate substantial experience in relation to pest control activities and management. Relevant Qualifications Educated to HNC level or equivalent and/or have a substantial level of pest control knowledge and experience. RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management. Driving Licence As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
