Position:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager at Urgent Care Services based at University Hospital Crosshouse

What you will do:

You will working closely with our clinical and non clinical teams directing the operational activities of the service within the out of hours period.

This is a key role to ensure a safe patient journey through the Urgent Care Service whilst ensuring business performance targets and clinical governance quality standards are consistently met.

You will be responsible and accountable for the daily management and development of the AUCS Operational Team.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be educated to degree level and able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative.  You should demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and be able to organise and be efficient in your working.

Hours:

37 hours per week

You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of service which will involve rotation of shifts which includes evenings, weekends and public holidays (including Christmas and New Year) to ensure provision of service over the out-of-hours period over 7 days. 

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
