Vacancy Information

Hourly rate of pay: £27.88 - £31.39

Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday
Flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing times are flexible.

Home Working Consideration

All applicants must live in the UK and will be expected to attend Council offices from time to time as required.

Job Details

Managing and leading on the collection of housing stock data and the subsequent planning of work programmes and monitoring of such to ensure the Council meets its housing asset related duties within prescribed timescales, as required by the Scottish Housing Regulator, related legislation and Council policies.

Managing the HRA capital modernisation budget including monitoring and reporting on programme performance, liaising with Finance and Strategic Investment colleagues as required.

Managing and leading on the Council’s housing investment and modernisation programmes, such as Area Based Schemes (EES:ABS) and other mixed tenure energy efficiency / housing retrofit projects ensuring a consistent high level of customer service to tenants and residents and an approach to delivery that maximises funding opportunities as well as integration with the wider housing division.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to Degree Level in Housing, Surveying, ‘hard’ Facilities Management or related subject and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through substantial relevant experience which will include extensive technical and specialist knowledge across housing legislation, planning, property, building and procurement.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
