Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available for someone to become a Technical Administrator within our development department. Reporting to our development manager this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is organised and methodical to support our programming team. You will play a crucial role in supporting technical administrative aspects of work ensuring the smooth functioning of processes, samples and work schedules. This role would suit someone with a strong attention to detail with an ability to manage technical documentation, making sure they are accurate and up to date for circulation around team members.

What will you be doing?

  • Working closely with staff in the programming team

  • Manage and organize technical documentation, including manuals, procedures, and specifications

  • Coordinate work schedules for programming staff

  • Assist in the procurement of technical equipment and supplies

  • Maintain inventory records and track the usage of technical resources

  • Provide admin support, including data entry, filing, and correspondence

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of technical activities

  • Commitment to achieving tight deadlines to make sure that submissions and production targets are met

  • Making sure that quality standards are achieved throughout the development and industrialisation processes, whilst being as efficient and productive as possible

    Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a technical, manufacturing or engineering environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure

  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude

  • Experience with technical documentation and knowledge management systems is desirable
