Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Technical Application Scientist qPCR who demonstrates exceptional work behaviors and drive to join our world-class Information Technology team. As a global leader in scientific research and innovation, we are dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.,

  • Provide technical application support for quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) instruments and reagents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement new technologies and products
  • Provide flawless technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers
  • Accurately record pertinent information from customer contacts in our Customer Relationship Management system and assist in the development of continuous improvement.
  • Proactively determine customer needs and provide innovative solutions
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements in qPCR technology
  • Participate in training on products and continuing education on our new applications and technologies.

    2+ years laboratory experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field, preferably in molecular biology or a related area. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in qPCR applications and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for driving innovation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Fluent English plus one of the following: Italian, French or German languages (spoken and written). Additional European languages are an asset.
