A Technical Assistant post has arisen within the Department STEM and Construction.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, hard working and trustworthy individual. You will contribute to the smooth running of the existing technical team within Construction, providing a range of technical support. You will be able to work well with others and have good organisational skills to be able to arrange workspaces efficiently, and have good house keeping procedures.

The Role
- co-operate with and assist relevant Construction staff in the preparation of classrooms, workshops and workshop demonstrations
- provide a repair and maintenance service for appropriate equipment and machinery.
- ensure compliance at all times, with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other health and safety regulations.

Ideally you will have qualifications in a relevant subject area at at least National 5 level. You will be able to work effectively within the technician team, while planning your work schedule around requests from associated staff.

A full clean driving license is required as this role will require travel between our campuses.
