Full Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Coordinator in the Oil & Gas and Wind & Renewals Markets to manage Supply Chain Services project requirements in line with client KPIs and departmental expectations. This role is vital in ensuring seamless operations and maintaining our commitment to excellence.,
- Client Interaction: Respond promptly to client inspection requests to ensure service needs are met and risks are minimized.
- Inspector Allocation: Assign appropriate inspectors based on competency and cost efficiency to maintain project budgets.
- Onboarding Inspectors: Qualify and onboard new QA/QC personnel to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Assignment Preparation: Issue clear work instructions for inspectors to meet contractual requirements.
- Project Monitoring: Track assignments to ensure timely execution and provide feedback within agreed timelines.
- Report Review: Verify inspection reports for accuracy and issue them as per client requirements.
- Administrative Updates: Maintain up-to-date client portals and administration systems.
- KPI Reporting: Generate KPI statistics and participate in client meetings to ensure service expectations are met.
- Non-Conformities: Log non-conformities for inspector failures to uphold quality standards.
- Invoicing: Approve timesheets and invoices, and issue client invoices promptly to ensure cash flow.
- Debt Management: Minimize outstanding debts and resolve issues promptly.
- Quality Improvement: Support the development of quality systems to drive continuous improvement.
- Health & Safety: Ensure health and safety policies are followed, including proper documentation of POWRAs.
- Business Development: Attend client meetings, sales calls, and events to promote SGS services.
- Team Support: Share technical knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
- Compliance: Uphold the SGS Code of Integrity and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy.
Experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Wind & Renewals Markets in a coordination role. - Strong understanding of QA/QC processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Competency in managing client relationships and resolving issues effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements in technical environments.
- Proficiency in administrative systems and data management.
