Full Job Description
As a Support Engineer, your primary task will be to provide support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means). Able to work with general guidance from senior support engineers and management and, in some areas, may work independently. Solutions often take time to develop through research, collaboration or problem replication. - Provide functional and technical support for our customers via web and phone
- Handle calls professionally and deal with queries efficiently
- Prioritise your own workload/backlog
- Analyse various log files to help root cause issues
- Engage and work with other teams to resolve issues, i.e. Development and Cloud Operations
- Capture and document new knowledge in our existing knowledgebase
3+ years of functional & technical customer support experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in technical troubleshooting/problem solving
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Patience, enthusiasm & self-motivated
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Will need to have or be able to pass UK Security Check (SC) Clearance. Preferred but not essential skills: -Knowledge of reporting tools, such as BI Publisher or Analytics -Oracle or SQL databases knowledge -Primavera P6, Unifier or Oracle Primavera Cloud knowledge -Web Services and XML/JSON knowledge
