Full Job Description
You should have a strong background in as many of the following technologies
- Linux (Preferably Fedora/EL flavours of Linux)
- Web stack (NGINX, PHP, Redis, Postgresql)
- Revision/Configuration Control (SVN, Puppet4, Git/Gitlab)
- Server Monitoring (Nagios, Grafana, Thousand Eyes)
- Networking (DNS, Firewalls, Routing) Nice to haves:
- Cloud based deployments
- AWS
- Docker
- Terraform
- Cloudflare What you would do:
- Solving technical problems our customers have with their existing systems
- Building and installing new infrastructure, servers and machines, as well as maintenance of current infrastructure (vms servers (application & data), hosted systems, SAAS
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of key projects
- Working with the product team to migrate systems to SaaS
- Maintaining servers in AWS
- Suggesting and working on ways to improve our support environment
3-5 years of troubleshooting skills on Linux based systems - Autonomy in fault finding
- Client facing communication skills
- Experience working in major or critical incidents.
