Full Job Description

The role of Technical Surveyor is to provide support and technical input to a team of operational project facing surveyors involved with the temporary and permanent acquisition of land and rights, in support of works delivery. This will involve inputting, organising, and improving administrative systems to assist with the performance of the team, the asset and safety management of a portfolio of properties along with other property related matters., Here are some of the duties your role will include: -
• Providing support and technical input to a team of operational project facing surveyors as directed.
• Assist with the management of a property services portfolio including sales, tenancies, licences, and grant of rights.
• Respond to queries on a day-to-day basis including from members of the public.
• Complete required documentation in a satisfactory and timely manner.
• Take accountability for administrative tasks as required / directed and become a source of expertise on Network Rail procedure and management systems.
• Manage a portfolio of case work and respond to internal stakeholder and third-party queries directly.

• Educated to A level or equivalent.
• Good negotiation skills
• Good communication skills
• Diplomacy skills
• Positive and proactive team player

• Training for TechRICS qualification
