Technician - Aerospace

35 hours per week

Fixed Term until 27 June 2025

Ayr Campus (The job holder will be required to work at the College’s Prestwick Airport Hangar facility as required)

£31,017 per annum

The successful candidate will support the delivery of curriculum activities through providing technical assistance within the learning environment, performing routine and general maintenance duties, preparing resources and materials, maintaining an adequate stock of consumables, and supporting administrative processes.

In addition, you will also provide support to ensure that the learning and teaching environment and related areas meet health and safety legislative requirements.

You should be educated to HNC/SVQ level 3 in Aerospace or an equivalent relevant qualification or practical experience within a workshop environment. You will also have relevant work-based qualifications within an Engineering sector. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is also essential. Experience of supporting curriculum delivery or a training environment would be desirable.
