Full Job Description

Located in Civic Centre Motherwell / Field Services you will join our peripatetic team to provide support in our migration to Windows 11. In addition to supporting the deployment of Windows 11, there will be an opportunity to provide an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) service to all establishments and locations in North Lanarkshire.
Your duties will include the migration of end user devices to Windows 11, first line repair on all ICT equipment, cyclical maintenance and safety testing, operation of ICT equipment, assisting with production of ICT materials and maintaining ITSM call logging system.
You must possess an HNC (or equivalent) in an ICT/Electrical related subject along with experience in the operation and maintenance of computing hardware and software. Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with others as part of a team or on your own initiative and work closely and responsibly with children. Possession of a HND (or equivalent) in an ICT related subject is desirable as is experience with ICT in education and computer network environments. Support is provided through a peripatetic service delivery and as such the ability to travel across the local authority is essential.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
The post is temporary for a period until 31/03/2026
Working Pattern
Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm
Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm
