As a result, we're recruiting an experienced business-to-business (B2B) Telemarketer to play a key role in helping us to achieve them., innovative metering and data services
- future-proofed network construction and ownership solutions
- low carbon service offerings.

We partner with major energy suppliers and utility constructors to deliver our services to the UK's most prestigious brands and public sector institutions.

What you'll be doing

Reporting directly to the Group Shared Services Director, you'll hold a key role generating and nurturing new B2B leads.

As our Group Telemarketer, you'll be responsible for:

- researching target businesses and individuals and keeping up to date with industry trends to inform your conversations with potential customers (prospects)
scouring online private and public sector procurement portals for suitable live or upcoming tenders to flag to our experienced BDMs
- working through publicly available online information to pro-actively self-generate your pipeline of leads aligned with our target businesses / individuals
investigating re-active leads passed to you from wider stakeholders
contacting prospects by phone, email and LinkedIn to verify their contact details, gauge interest and drive further communication
- building rapport with prospects over the phone, identifying their pain points / needs and selling the benefits of our services to address their pain points / needs - a full script and detailed FAQs will be provided
- using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce, to digitally record details of key aspects of your conversations with prospects to:
help inform lead conversion (i.e. a sale) by our experienced BDMs
capture feedback to improve sales strategy and inform proposition development
allow us to accurately report on your activity, ensuring you're recognised and rewarded (via bonus) for your direct contribution.
- ensuring the leads you generate are qualified i.e. vetting them during your initial conversation to ensure the prospect / opportunity fits the profile of our target customer / opportunity. We'll provide a robust checklist to enable you to do this.
forming strong working partnerships with all BDMs Group wide.

You must have the full right to work in UK., Essential - a minimum of 2+ years' in a B2B Telemarketing or Customer Service role.
Desirable - proficient in CRM use, ideally Salesforce.
