Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Tender Manager seeking a new opportunity? Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to lead their tender process activities, ensuring efficiency, fairness, transparency, and alignment with the company's ESG requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Oversee the expiring contract database, identifying tender opportunities with a three-year rolling plan.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with stakeholders regarding contract expiries and supplier performance, drafting comprehensive tender documentation.
  • Process Oversight: Ensure fair competition and transparent communication throughout the tender process, managing timelines and site visits.
  • Budget Coordination: Maintain strong communication with Finance Business Partners to align budgets and fees with tender activities.
  • Contract Execution: Draft and execute contracts, ensuring adherence to governance and securing Board approval for significant financial commitments.
  • Supplier Management: Handle the exit of incumbent suppliers and support mobilisation and de-mobilisation meetings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Update productivity and contract trackers, assisting internal and external customers with queries.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Significant experience as a Tender Manager used to working in fast-paced, constantly changing environments.
  • Procurement experience. A CIPS qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Proven experience in writing and reviewing contracts.
  • Abilities: Aptitude for managing tender processes and supplier relationships, working under pressure, and developing others.
  • Requirements: Must have lived in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years to obtain a Counter Terrorist Check.
