Tendering Engineer

A Tendering Engineer is required within a leading service company in the offshore oil & gas and renewables industries, specialising in providing engineering solutions for new builds and Asset Maintenance Equipment.

The Tendering Engineer will play a critical role in managing tendering and proposal activities from initial inquiry to post-contract completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality proposals, developing costing models, creating project schedules, and supporting various internal stakeholders throughout the tendering process.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in proposal writing, project management, and client relations, particularly in the offshore oil & gas or renewables sectors. Strong understanding of cost modeling, pricing strategies, and budget management.
• Knowledge of engineering scopes, manufacturing, mechanical components, hydraulic and electric systems.
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking proposals and managing client relationships.
• Degree in a relevant engineering or business field.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organisational skills.
