Full Job Description

Working as a Test Analyst, primarily within an IT product team or on business change projects as part of a team, to ensure the quality and functionality of products, confirming they meet the requirements and objectives,

  • Work with an established team of Testers, Developers and Product Managers within a Product Team
  • Adhere to established testing processes throughout the various phases of a Waterfall project
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives
  • Analyse testing inputs, such as business and technical requirements
  • Prepare detailed test conditions and test scripts
  • Execute test scripts, accurately recording all test results
  • Identify, maintain and prioritise defects in accordance with guidelines, seeing defects through to resolution
  • Conduct thorough regression testing, automating repetitive testing tests to increase efficiency Document and communicate test results and defect reports to stakeholders, highlighting any risks
  • Provide informative daily updates to Senior Test Analyst and Test & QA Manager (if required)

    Strong manual testing skills and experience
  • Ability to work within cross-functional product teams
  • Solid understanding and experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Zephyr, JIRA)
  • Understanding of risk-based testing practices to focus efforts on critical areas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail, having the ability to spot inconsistencies, errors, and issues
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in fast paced environments
  • Desired skills and experience
  • ISTQB Certified
  • Proficiency in using automation tools for designing, executing and maintaining tests (Selenium, Tosca)
  • Awareness of maturity models and familiarity with the principles and levels ( TMMI )
  • Understanding of legal industry processes and software
