- Theatre Support Worker (TSW) Band 3 - 2 POSITIONS
An opportunity has arisen for individuals to join the dynamic multidisciplinary team within the Emergency Theatre Team and the Orthopaedic/Neuro Theatre Team, Ninewells Hospital, NHS Tayside. The successful applicant will be based at the above mentioned site but may be required to vary their workplace within the area covered by NHS Tayside, as required.
You will play an important part in the patients journey, working within the operating department and assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) & Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) in the care and treatment of patients undergoing emergency and urgent surgical procedures. Health care experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for this post.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: Applicant may work a full range of shifts to cover a 24hour service including Nightshifts, Late shifts, Early shift, Weekends and on calls
