Full Job Description

With the support of the wider team of highly regarded Consultants dealing with an impressive range of projects including major infrastructure, waste and energy, minerals and strategic housing, in the following Glasgow office you will be responsible for business and team development.

Your duties will include:

  • Project managing a broad mix of planning and EIA submissions

  • Provide direction and support to the planning team on projects from inception to completion

  • Engaging with a wide range of professionals within both public and private sectors

  • Advising team colleagues on planning procedural changes and implications

  • Managing budgets and fees on projects including preparation of proposals

  • Working with a wide range of clients, managing expectations and meeting deadlines

  • Maintaining a good understanding of policies relating to commercial, infrastructure, residential and minerals schemes,

  • Proactively seeking to develop new client relationships including seeking opportunities for cross-selling;

  • Helping to mentor junior staff members to facilitate career advancement

  • Participating in public inquiries

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to develop their career to the next level and to work within a multi-disciplinary environment., Be a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) or EIA Specialist (CEnv or MIEMA) or working towards

  • Have experience in the private sector
    Demonstrate a clear understanding of the EIA process
    Have excellent analytical and written skills
