The role – Weekend Traffic Coordinator

You will have a key role in ensuring the effective management and control of UK wide fleet operations and will be responsible for ensuring a first-class professional service provision is delivered across all client organisations.

The role is responsible for managing the weekend fleet operations, the hours of work are based over Friday 12:00 – 18:30 and Saturday – Sunday, 06:00 – 16:00 although flexibility in the role is essential where business demands require.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Day-to-day load planning and scheduling of the fleet
  • Prioritising workload and route planning
  • Effectively responding to and managing and alterations or issues affecting operational activities
  • Daily driver brief and de-briefing
  • Tachograph tracking and management
  • Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Liaising with and providing an effective service to all internal and external stakeholders

You will have experience in managing UK wide fleet operations and be well versed in undertaking and managing daily fleet planning and scheduling. Possessing excellent communication skills, you will be well versed in effectively reacting to operational change requirements in a professional and composed manner.
